Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Buffalo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I went to speak to the facility coordinator Brian Brown on 2-11-24 to inquire about renting the gym for a concert. On 12-15-24, I changed the type of event a bit and requested to rent the gym on 3-13-26 instead. Brian asked me to come back in to meet with him even though we were communicating through email. We agreed on an appointment for 1-5-26. We discussed cost and he told me that he would send me a contract. He emailed me 1-9-26 asking for my address and phone number for the contract so I sent it to him. I am laying in bed in pain from cancer when I got a phone call from him on 1-9-26 saying that he was confused about the date and it was no longer available. It would have been professional for him to email me that nonsense but he had to be a jerk and play on my phone instead. ECC is not what it used to be when I graduated in 2004! All that time waisted that I could have been talking to a professional about conducting business.

Clean and well-maintained, this rec center is a great place to enjoy a workout. It’s usually not crowded, so you don’t have to compete for equipment. On-site security is present most of the time, which adds a sense of safety and peace of mind, especially in a downtown location. Overall, it’s a comfortable and reliable spot to get in a good workout without distractions.

The facility was great. We were there for a swim meet. Plenty of seating. There were both seat and bleacher style seating. I prefer seat style. There were spots where the heat was pumping as long as you stayed away from those spots it was perfect. The only real negative was no free parking. There is a paid lot right next to it.

2019 NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. The good: seating, ventilation The bad: pool! I can't believe at the college level and the National Championship, the pool looks filthy. The pool floor looks like there is alge growing on the bottom. Whistling should be banned from these events. Bring your ear plugs!
